Ontem foi feito o lançamento público mundial da Campanha e do Vídeo “Torcendo Pelo Time da Casa”. Este pequeno vídeo foi feito pelo Grupo Line Break Media – da Cidade de Minneapolis, estado do Minnesota/EUA -, com a colaboração de companheiros locais e de outras partes do mundo. O vídeo trata da resistência das comunidades em Fortaleza/Brasil ameaçadas de despejo, no contexto (e sob pretexto) dos preparativos para a Copa do Mundo FIFA 2014. Mostra em especial a resistência da Comunidade Trilha do Senhor, que há mais de dois anos está organizada e em luta, junto com várias outras comunidades, no Movimento de Luta em Defesa da Moradia (MLDM).

Yesterday was made the global launch the Campaign and Video “Rooting For the Home Team.” This short video that was made by Line Break Media Group – City of Minneapolis, State of Minnesota/USA – with the collaboration of local partners and other partners around the world. The video is about the strength of communities in Fortaleza/Brazil in threat of removals in the context (and under the pretext) of preparations FIFA World Cup 2014. The video shows especially the resistance of the Community “Trilha do Senhor”, which for over two years is organized and in struggle, with many other communities in the Movement of Struggle in Defense of Housing (MLDM).
